A Legendary Visitor

Another event, another surprise. For this event, we had the immense honor and privilege to have none other than Mr. Kikuo Ibe, the father of G-Shock, join us all the way from Japan on the brand’s 35th anniversary year!

Something's Coming...

What an incredible event! It’s not everyday that you get to be part of the launch of an awesome new collaboration or meet a rockstar… During this event, we got to do both!

A Venomous Encounter

Well this one was fun!! On October 16th, the Watch The Bay crew gathered at a movie theater in San Mateo, CA for a private complimentary screening of the new Venom movie courtesy of Bremont Watches.

An Evening With Zenith

For this meetup, Topper and Zenith went all out to throw us one hell of a party 🎉
From wonderfully tasty hors d’oeuvres to a variety of drinks, there was something for everyone!

A Kimono Would Look Good On You

But to make it even better, Grand Seiko USA Vice President Rusty Rowlands was also be on hand to present not only the Baselworld novelties, but the all-new USA-exclusive 'Kimono' watches unveiled that weekend at Couture Time in Las Vegas – a collection so new, it doesn't even have official pricing or reference numbers yet!

Wind^Up The West Coast

But what was very exciting is that I had been in touch with the team over at Worn & Wound and they had kindly extended an invitation to our group to join the Wind^Up Watch Fair Launch Reception which was held at the Leica Store SF.

An Inspiring Night!

Not only was it another great event with Topper Jewelers and Oris, but we had the honor and privileged to be joined by Philip Brashear — son of US Navy Master Diver Carl Brashear, the subject of the Hollywood movie, 'Men of Honor'.

G-Shock Enters The Building!

One really cool thing about this event was that we were joined by Clark Nelson, the North American Sales Director for G-Shock who brought the MR-G line of high end G-Shocks along to present to the group.

The Sequel

The response from our first event from both attendees and non-attendees on Reddit was so overwhelmingly positive that I decided to make this a monthly thing!

Our first!

It happened!

Last night, I had the honor and privilege of meeting 8 amazing people who all share the same common passion: watches and start our Watch The Bay Bay Area meetup group!
