The Topper x Nomos Zurich Worldtimer Launch
Well, after a brief hiatus, this marked our 5th official r/watches Bay Area event and it was yet another success.
It was great to meet yet another set of new members to our meetup group and I cannot wait to continue to include anyone that is interested and meet you all in person one day!
Truth be told, I had so much fun being behind the counter for our fourth event that I squeezed myself back there again this time again to help everyone that attended!
One really cool thing about this event was that it was the official availability day for the new Limited Edition Topper x Nomos Zurich Worldtimer of 30 pieces that has since long sold out.
I really liked the renders but absolutely fell head over heels with it in person... so did a few others in attendance!
As always, big thank you to Topper Jewelers for helping us put together a great catered event in partnership with Nomos.
Special shoutout to Rob from Nomos, who was on hand to showcase the new Nomos “At Work” collection but also just talk about watches, any watches. He’s a definite watch nerd just like the rest of us :-)
Everyone got to try on anything and everything they had their eyes on at Topper but the best part of any meetup and getting to know the fellow community members and their own tastes.
These meet-ups our great because they bring us together beyond our computer screens and make new friendships around a common passion: watches!
People also get to show off their own pieces of course and what a show it was!
From a REALLY COOL Solid Gold Omega Constellation, to a Lumtastic Sinn, a Military Bell & Ross, and Tudor Black Bay. And plenty of others!
All in all, it was a lot of fun and I thank everyone that attended and helped make this yet another successful event!
